La Ceiba que fue, hace mucho tiempo, derribada
por un huracán pero vive aun...
...como un gran puente natural sobre la quebrada.

previo a la excursión.
Luego de la excursión parte del grupo se reúne
en un restaurante del área, con tema de aviación...
... mientras llueve fuertemente, se disponen
a disfrutar de una larga espera para cenar.
El Cañón Las Bocas naciente Reserva Natural en Barranquitas, lucha de un grupo comunitario por preservar un
lugar de extrema belleza, muy accesible por personas de variada condiciones físicas y edades, es una aula en las
altas montañas nuestra isla para la enseñanza  ambiental. El Sierra Club de Puerto Rico se enorgullece en poder
cooperar con esta obra.

After the outing some of the participants meet at a
restaurant in the area, with an aviation theme...
…while it rains very hard, they settle down to enjoy
a long wait for dinner.
The Las Bocas Canyon, a Nature Reserve in the making it's the struggle of a community group to preserve a place of
extreme beauty, very accessible by persons of varied physical conditioning and age, it’s a classroom in the high
mountains of our island for teaching environmentalism. The Sierra Club’s Puerto Rico Chapter is proud to cooperate
with this work.
